Compact Fluorescent Emergency Ballast.Fluorescent emergency ballasts

Bodine offers emergency ballasts for both linear and compact fluorescent lamp fixtures. Bodine fluorescent emergency ballasts for linear lamps operate most single and bi-pin fluorescent lamps, including U-shaped, HO, VHO, circline and energy-saving, and 4-pin long compacts. They are compatible with electronic, standard, energy-saving and dimming AC ballasts. Bodine emergency ballasts for linear lamps are UL Listed for factory or field installation, provide at least 90 minutes of emergency lighting and can produce up to 3500 lumen initial light output, depending on the model. They, like the compact line, allow you to easily covert new or existing fluorescent fixtures into emergency lighting.

ELI Emergency Lighting Inverters Emergency lighting inverters

Emergency lighting inverters work with a variety of lighting systems (e.g., LED, fluorescent) and lamp types (e.g., LED strip system, Edison-based, fluorescent linear, CFL). In addition, they are suitable for almost any setting, including retail, commercial, hospitality, schools and healthcare. Emergency lighting inverters are an excellent choice for use with multiple fixtures and in cases where emergency LED drivers cannot be used, such as with integral-base lamps. They also offer the advantage of long-distance remote installation.

Generator Devices.   Emergency lighting for generator systems

Bodine offers distinct products designed to work with generators and central inverter systems: the GTD and BLCD families. These products work in conjunction with a generator or central inverter system to supply emergency lighting regardless of local light switch position. This means emergency lighting is no longer dependent on expensive night lighting. In fact, you can switch off normal lighting at the end of the day or whenever it’s not needed without jeopardizing emergency lighting operation. These energy-saving devices sense the loss of normal power and, in response, switch the lighting load to a generator- or inverter-fed circuit.

LED Emergency LightingLED emergency drivers

In the event of an emergency situation requiring building evacuation, stairs, aisles, corridors, ramps, escalators and passageways leading to safety must be illuminated continuously for a minimum of 90 minutes. Emergency lighting guides occupants to the nearest path of egress.

Bodine’s self-testing fluorescent emergency ballasts and emergency LED drivers automatically test emergency lighting operation for 30 seconds every 30 days and for 90 minutes once a year according codes such as the NFPA® 101® Life Safety Code®. In addition, they continuously monitor charging current and battery voltage. An LED alerts maintenance personnel to ballast status.
